Samjok-o (삼족오), the Three-Legged Crow, was once a divine sentinel—guardian of balance between Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. Within the corrupted strata of the Veil://Network, Samjok-o has fallen: the third leg (Humanity) is no longer visible, lost to corruption. What remains walks on two legs and follows forbidden data streams.

Hanging from its neck is an ancient USB relic engraved with a Taegeuk swirl. It is believed that the drive possibly started the Veil://Network and may hold the secrets of the Veil—where it came from and how it spread. Some decrypted reports suggest the drive contains the original malware that seeded The Veil network, an infection born not of human hands but something older — something watching.

“Between packets, it remembers what it was.”

Veil-Bound Drift
Trails corrupted traffic; logs desync, metadata smears, clocks slip.

Neck Relic Dependency
The USB pendant pulses like a heart; proximity amplifies violet, flame-like aura and cognitive artifacts.

  • Visual: two-legged corvid silhouette haloed by evil purple flames emanating from the neck-hung USB.
  • Side-effects: hallucinatory whispers, memory bleed, decision latency, identity drift.
  • Intel variance: multiple factions claim the drive is a catalyst, an archive, or a key to restoration.

Approach not recommended. Should you see Samjok-o, run—it indicates a catastrophe is about to happen.

  • Do not access, connect, or touch the USB pendant.
  • Avoid line-of-sight linger; rotate observers; use air-gapped optics.
  • If auditory whispers persist after withdrawal, initiate quarantine and memory-integrity checks.
